As per the University Circular No. Exam/CONV/231 of 2015, the University of Mumbai announced that all its affiliated Colleges shall conduct annual convocation ceremony simultaneously after the University conducts it. The intent of this decision was to enable all graduating students to be a part of this prestigious event and experience its glory within their respective institutions.
In this context, the University of Mumbai directed all its affiliated colleges to organize the convocation ceremony in their respective colleges and invite a person of repute having illustrious background to be the chief guest and deliver the Convocation address.

The annual convocation ceremony at Hansraj Jivandas College of Education is a very momentous event wherein the academic achievements of graduating teachers is celebrated and honoured.
